The Senior Parent Boosters are having a fundraiser at Rubio’s on Clairemont Drive in Kearny Mesa, Wednesday, February 16 from 2:00 p.m. to closing. HEY SERRA! Get ready for Spirit Week. Today is Valentine’s Day so wear all of your red and pink. Tuesday is Mismatch Day, make sure you’re clashing. Wednesday is Champions Day so wear your favorite sports team gear. Thursday is Mardi Gras Day, deck yourself out in beads, and last but not least Friday is Q-Pride Day. Go Serra!
COLLEGES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
San Diego State University/Association of Chicana Activists is awarding scholarships to high school students who are pursuing higher education. The applicant should a good grade point average and all students are encouraged to apply. This includes students with AB 540, resident, and out of service area students. Winners will be chosen by the narrative content and honesty reflected in the essays submitted. The total amount of each award will be based on the number of applications received.
