HERSHEY'S KISS GRAMS:  Your CIF bound Serra Football team is will be selling Hershey Kiss Grams for $.50 in front of the Media Center during lunch from June 4-6. Let that special someone know how much you care for them! We will have specialty grams for seniors (you must know the seniors 5th period class).

Community Service Opportunity this summer at the Tierrasanta Library.  The San Diego Public Library is now seeking applications for the Adult and Children’s Summer Reading Program Ambassadors!  Volunteers will receive training.  You must be available to volunteer at least 2 hours a week between May 15^th and August 15^th.  Pick up an application at the Tierrasanta Branch Library.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Remember waaaaay back in the Fall when all of the Seniors took pictures on the football? Well, the photos are now available! You can order your own miniposter for only $5 each. Come by room 203 to see the posters and to place your order.

The S2S club's Yellow Ribbon Campaign is in full swing!  At lunch today, we'll be passing out yellow ribbons in support of suicide prevention and awareness.  On Friday, look for our Yellow Ribbon Wall where you can write a message of hope to everyone you care about.  Help us spread the word –  “It’s OK to ask for help when you need it.”

YEARBOOK:  The last day to preorder a Yearbook is Friday, May 18.  Payments can be made at the Finance Office. The current cost is $70 with an ASB card and $75 without.  Don't miss your chance to purchase the yearbook!!!- Pederson

Attention Students:  It has come to our attention that some students have been engaging in a game/fun that consist of striking/hitting one another. Serra HS Administration takes “play fighting” very serious, and may result in immediate suspension for Fighting on campus.  In addition, causing bodily harm to another student while playing in this manner may result in expulsion and legal actions against the perpetrator.  We have less than 5 weeks remaining in this school year, lets end on a positive note.  Please refrain from play fighting, striking or hitting one another at all times. Thank you.

The S2S club is hosting a number of activities this week during lunch for Yellow Ribbon Week to raise awareness about the problem of suicide among teens.  Monday is Wear Yellow Day; Tuesday help build a “We Care” link; Thursday pick up a yellow ribbon to show you care, and Friday write a message of hope on our Yellow Ribbon Wall.  Look for us at lunch and help us share the message to everyone you know –  “It’s OK to ask for help when you need it.”
