18th Annual San Diego Public
library Student Essay Contest has begun. The essay contest is open to students in grade 10. There will be
four Grand Prize Winners who will receive a monetary award AND a laptop
computer! The author of the best essay will receive $500. The entry deadline is
Friday, December 19. Entry forms are available in the Serra High Library and
your local branch library.-Gilbert
Juniors & Seniors: The deadline for the Hispanic College Fair is fast approaching. We will be visiting the University of San Diego where you will meet over 50 representatives from various schools on Friday, December 11th from 8:45-11:45 a.m. The permission slips are due December 1, 2015. If you are planning to attend, please have a parent signature and signed by the period 2, 3, and 4 classroom teacher. Permission slips need to be returned to Dr. Mora
