If you are a Senior and you still have not filed a FAFSA or Dream Act application and would like FREE ASSISTANCE doing so, come to a Cash for College workshop at Hoover High School or Vista High School from 9am-12pm on Saturday February 4th. Bring your parents’ federal tax return information from 2015. **bilingual assistance available**



Attention all seniors planning on attending City, Mesa, or Mira Mar College next year:
San Diego Community College District is offering seniors the opportunity to get their first year tuition and books for free through the Promise Scholarship.   Applications are available in the counseling office.  Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to get your first year tuition and books for FREE!!!   Applications are due February 13


Juniors and Seniors: If you need to do  recover a math class, please see your counselor as soon as possible.  Session 3 will be starting Feb 6-April 7.  Mr. Tartt will be teaching the class in Room  700.  Please sign up with your counselor as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Attention all Juniors…….Tuesday, January 31st is the deadline for you to apply for RYLA the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp.  You must submit your application online, print out a copy of your application and your essay and submit it to Mrs. Shenault by the end of the day on Tuesday, January 31st.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Shenault in the Counseling Office.

Attention all Seniors…….The deadline is approaching for the Community Promise Scholarship.  If you are planning to attend one of the following community colleges, Mesa, Miramar, or City College, we have the perfect scholarship for you.  We are looking to have a minimum of 60 Serra students apply for this scholarship.  Recipients will have their first year tuition paid for and receive extra money that could be used for books/extra expenses.  Do not let this opportunity pass you by.  Please see your counselor or Mr. Gonzalez in the Counseling Office.
