BULLETIN

Would you like to have the tools to help you succeed in school and in life? Would you like to meet a great group of fun and hard working students ? Would you like to learn more about AVID? The AVID club meets each Friday in room 303 during lunch. Everyone is welcome to meet us and learn about AVID.

Hey there Circle of Friends members: This is a friendly reminder that Circle of Friends is still meeting regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch and would love to see you there! Remember this club is a once a week commitment. Please let Ms. Martin know if you are no longer able to be a member.  See you there!

CRAM STUDY SESSIONS:  Finals are coming, plan on being better prepared by working with your friends and teachers after school a week prior to finals. Sessions will be after school in the Media Center on  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1/17-1/19.   Sign up in the ARC Room if you plan to attend.  Everyone is welcome!!!

Did you make any New Years Resolutions to read more? Research shows that regular recreational reading increases vocabulary, reading ability and speed of reading, improves writing skills and grammar, and helps students acquire content knowledge found in the books read. Our Serra book club is meeting TODAY to choose our next book. Join us during lunch for snacks, friendship, and fun. You will have one month to read the book and then share any thoughts about it. This is a great way to get your recreational reading requirement out of the way for your English classes.  See you in room 303.
