Attention all students. Do you want to join a club that
works to make a positive change on campus and in the community? If so, today at lunch is the first club meeting for
ELEVATED “young leaders of today”. The
meeting is held in Serra Real
Connections, room 230. We look forward to seeing many new members today! Once
again, that’s room 230 today at lunch.
ATTENTION STUDENTS:Would you be interested in serving on the Serra High School Site
Council as a student representative? Nomination forms are available
in the front office. To nominate yourself or a fellow student, please
submit your nomination form to the school office by Friday, September 16, 2016.
For this school year, we have two student openings. Please
see Bridgette Brunetto in the front office if you have any questions.-Brunetto
Seniors/Juniors: Night School for all levels of English will start on September 26-November 17.
You need to sign up with your counselor as soon as possible. Seniors take
priority as they are the Class of 2017. Night School is Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30-5:00 p.m. Please note that
attendance is extremely important and cannot miss no more than 2 days.
California
Scholarship Federation Membership Applications are now available in room 211. The CSF Membership Drive will run from
September 7th through September 16th. All students
are welcome to apply. Membership eligibility is based on the applicant’s Spring
2016 report card grades. Applications will be accepted during lunch. See Mrs. Lavine in room 211 for more
details.
Attention all juniors! There will be a class meeting today at the
beginning of lunch in room 213. We will be discussing upcoming
fundraisers. See you there!
Garden club meeting
today at lunch. Meet in the garden on the Santo Road side of the school next to
the 200 building. Come see what its all about or just stop by and say hi!
To anyone interested in
joining the AVID club: We are having an AVID
club meeting Friday September 16th during lunch in room #224. Come check it
out. All students are welcome!
Serra’s improv class is
back! The first class is today at 3 p.m. in Room 402. The class
will meet every Thursday this year. If you play a fall sport, please join
us later in the fall when your sport finishes. See you today… or soon!
