NJROTC has room for more cadets. This is a great way to earn your PE or elective credit. We have 3 field trips this month alone; a fun aquatic competition at the beach, a mini boot camp, and the Miramar Air Show. Attention conquistadors. The student store is now open at lunch. We have PE clothes, hoodies, T Shirts and snack items available. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we will be selling pizza. Please stop by and check it out.-Fransk


GARDEN CLUB: Please meet in room 701 today at lunch for the first Garden Club meeting of the year. We will be discussing club meeting times, club officers, and all the yummy and healthy fruits and vegetables we will be growing this year.  Today at lunch in room 701 with Ms. Litt for Garden Club.-Litt

The IMIN After School program is now offering FREE Math Tutoring on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30. Students needing support in Integrated Math I & II can go to room 204. Those needing support in  Integrated Math III, Pre-Cal, & Calculus can go to room 613.-Vazquez

The IMIN After School program will be hosting a Co-Ed Soccer Tournament starting September 13th.  Team roasters are due Thursday, September 8th. An informational meeting will be held on Friday, September 9th at lunch time in the Rec Room. The top two teams will compete in a Bubble Soccer game on  Thursday, October 20th. If you're interested in making a team and competing, stop by the Rec. Room after school to sign up. Team space is Limited!-Vazquez



Are you interested in getting your Driver's Permit?  The IMIN arc After School Program will be offering Driver's Education. The course will be Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays for one hour for 5 weeks. All students must have an arc Participation Form. For questions and sign-ups go to the Rec. Room after school. First Session begins on September19th from 3:00pm-4:00pm. Space is limited!




Hey Conquistadors! Serra High’s Red Cross Club’s first meeting will be held September 14th in room 618 during lunch! Stop by to learn how to better your community and better lives across the world! Use your skills to raise money for measles vaccinations for developing countries or take part in installing fire alarms in homes that need it. Cookies will also be provided! We need you!-Ward


PHYSICS CLUB: The first informational meeting of the physics club will be on Wednesday during lunch in room 226. Stop by and help brainstorm ideas for this year's projects.Uebel


The Ceramics Club will hold its first meeting on Monday, September 12 after school in Room 408. New members are welcome. Come find out what we do with clay.



Seniors/Juniors: Night School for all levels of English will start on September 26-November 17.  You need to sign up with your counselor as soon as possible.  Seniors take priority  as they are the Class of 2017.  Night School is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30-5:00 p.m.   Please note that attendance is extremely important and cannot miss no more than 2 days.

California Scholarship Federation Membership Applications are now available in room 211. The CSF Membership Drive will run from September 7th through September 16th.  All students are welcome to apply. Membership eligibility is based on the applicant’s Spring 2016 report card grades. Applications will be accepted during lunch. See Mrs. Lavine in room 211 for more details.
