The San Diego Better Business Bureau Foundation is accepting applications for the 2013 Torch Awards Scholarship Essay Program for one more week with a DEADLINE of Oct 25^th. This program is open to all members of the graduating class of 2014 or 2015. Five cash scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $1500, $1250, $1000, $750 and $500.

The application can be found on line or in Naviance under scholarships for the Better Business Bureau.

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing is open to all high school girls residing in the US.  Apply online at:

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year.

SENIORS:  UCSD will be at Serra High School on Tuesday, Oct. 29^th at 8:00 in the Theater.  Passes are available in the counseling office and you must have your period 1 teacher sign the pass.

Club Green meeting , Monday at lunch in Ms. Litt's room, room 701. Come and discuss what you can do for your environment."

SENIORS:  If you are applying to San Diego State please plan to attend a presentation by SDSU on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 8:30 in the Theater.  Red passes are available in the counseling office and you must get your period 2 teacher to sign off on the pass.

This Friday, the student store will once again have Subway sandwiches.  Come get a six inch turkey or ham Subway sandwich, chips and a drink for $5.00. Feel fresh, Eat Fresh.

 

Attention all Freshmen! There will be a Freshmen Class meeting on Wednesday, October 30 at lunch in room 206. We will be discussing our first fundraiser. Bring your lunch and bring a friend. We will see you there.

Calling all art students!  If you have ever thought of a career in art or fashion design, come to room 406 during lunch on Monday, Oct 28 to hear a presentation by the representatives of FIDM, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Attention Wrestlers:  Hydration Assessment is quickly approaching.  If you have not done so already, stop by Mr Dyson’s classroom today to pick up your Permission Slip.  Mr Dyson will be in his classroom during passing periods and briefly afterschool, but unavailable at lunch.  Mare sure to See him today!
