Students: Tutoring is available after school every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Please see your counselors or teachers for more information.



ATTENTION STUDENTS: Are you interested in dancing to fun music and working out at the same time? The IMIN arc After School Program will be offering Zumba classes. This activity will be Mondays (3:00 pm) and Wednesdays (2:00 pm) afterschool in the Q-hut. All students must have an arc Participation Form. For questions go to the Rec. Room after school.



ATTENTION STUDENTS: Please remember to come to the office at lunch time for a new bus pass or have questions regarding transportation. See Ms. Palacio in the office.


Students: A safety concern has come to the schools attention.  Students have been reported by the community crossing the streets outside of the crosswalk areas, in the middle of the street etc.  Please remember that cars are much bigger then you and the safest place to cross the street is at a crosswalk.  Also, local law enforcement  can and will cite you for jaywalking.



ATTENTION STUDENTS: Save a life Foundation will be at University of San Diego’s Hahn School of Nursing on Sunday, April 9th offering FREE heart screenings to youth ages 12-25. Cardiac ​​​​​​screening to the youth, coaches, and parents from Junipero Serra High”

Seniors: the Kiwanis Foundation of Tierrasanta has college scholarships of $1000-$4000 available. Applications are due April 27th. Pick up an application in the Counseling Center.

BOOK CLUB: In 1962 Carlos Eire was airlifted out of Cuba along with 14,000 other children, away from their parents and homeland during the Cuban revolution. Join the Serra Book club in room 303 to discuss this humorous and poignant memoir during lunch on Thursday, April 13. This is the One Book One San Diego 2017 selection. Pick up a copy today in the library and join us for the meeting. Snacks are provided.

TUTORING: Having trouble with one of your classes? Need a place to meet with your friends to do group work or study together for class? The library is open until 3:30 Thursdays and Fridays, and until 4 pm with tutors available on Tuesdays. There is no charge and you do not need to sign up in advance. Snacks are provided Tuesdays from ARC.
