ATTENTION STUDENTS:Have you ever wanted to talk to an author about their work? California author Rayya Deeb will visit Serra book club today to talk about her novel  Seneca Rebel . The book is about a high school math genius who is introduced to a secret technologically-advanced underground society dedicated to making the earth a better place. The only requirement is she has to leave her loved ones behind or forget Seneca Society even exists.   We meet during lunch in room 303 and snacks are provided. Everyone is welcome to join."



Attention Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! If you are planning a career in the military, The ASVAB Career Exploration Assessment will be given here at SHS on Wednesday Dec. 6th in the Media Center.  Please sign up in the Counseling Center if interested in taking it.  Students who are enrolled in NJROTC can sign up with their commanding officer.

Yearbook is asking all seniors for baby pictures to be featured in the 2016-2017 yearbook!! To be a part of the baby boom section, please bring a copy of your baby picture in a sealed envelope to Mrs. Nelson's room (room 413) with your name and period 4 teacher. There will be a box in room 413 where you can drop off your pictures. IT IS DUE BY NOV 10. Thanks for participating!




The second session of Night School for Social Science will begin on November 28th to February 2.  Please see your counselor asap if you need to make up a Social Studies credit.  Night School will be with Mr. Demendonca in Room 605 from 2:30-5:00 each day except on Wednesdays.    Thank you

 Need help picking a college major? Not sure what career path you want to pursue? Come to a career search workshop FRIDAY, November 18th in the media center computer lab during lunch time. A Cal-SOAP college peer advisor will be there to assist you in your search and answer your questions about college admissions and how to fund your college career.
