STUDENTS

The Circle of Friends club is having it’s annual Winter Ball dance! This is an event open to all students. Club members may attend free of charge, while non-club members can attend with a fee of $5. Food, dancing, and holiday crafts will be provided. The Circle of Friends Winter Ball is next Thursday, Dec. 19^th form 2:30-5:00pm in the media center. Please rsvp to Ms. Martin as soon as possible! 

Students who become ill during the school day MUST visit the Health Office for assessment. 

If is determined that a student needs to go home, parents will be contacted and the Health Office staff will issue the Blue Slip.

Please do not call your parent to go home they will be directed to the nurse. Thank you.

Student contracts are available if you will be absent five school days or more.  Please be sure to notify the attendance office a minimum of one week in advance of the absence and request the contracts.
This will give the teachers plenty of time to prepare the school work you will need while you are out and ensure that you do not have any “unexcused” absences. Going out of town or on vacation is not an “excused” absence.

 Shakespeare's final play, "The Tempest" opens this afternoon at 2:45 and runs Friday night at 6:30 and Saturday afternoon at 2 in the Serra theater.  All tickets are $5.

The last day to buy a page in the yearbook is  Wednesday December 18^th! Pick up an order form at the Finance Office or from room 203.

Have you bought your yearbook yet! Friday December 20^th is your last chance to preorder the book for only $60 with an ASB card, $65 without. Checks can be made out to Serra High School. After the Winter Break the price will go up!
