STUDENTS

STUDENTS: You heard right: Serra High Theatre Club IS doing "Grease" this year. Auditions for "Grease" and Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" will start this Wednesday and Thursday with workshops. Come to the theater at 2:30 on Wednesday or Thursday to learn more about auditioning and to get a song and monologue for the actual audition in a few weeks. You will need to get the piece and have it memorized. You may not audition UNLESS you have come to the workshop this week.-Howell

Pictures: Picture package orders from pre orientation day can be picked up from Financial Window before, after school and during lunch.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Do you want your own personal page in the yearbook? If you answered yes, come by room 203 to pick up an order form. This page will appear in 1000 copies of the school yearbook. The deadline to buy your page is in December but if you reserve your page by October 20^th you will get a discount!

SENIORS: There will be a SDSU representative on campus to speak to seniors from San Diego State University on Wednesday, October 26th at 10:15 in the Media Center. The representative will address CSU admissions, financial aid, NCAA athletics requirements, campus life, scholarships etc. Please pick up your SDSU ticket from the Counseling Office to hear this informational meeting. Your SDSU slip will be your ticket to get in and be sure you get your Period 4 teach to sign it prior to the SDSU event.-More, E.

All students interested in promoting and celebrating diversity here at Serra, please come to this year's first meeting of Serra's Gay/Straight Alliance or GSA. The meeting will be TODAY at lunch in Room 622.-Bleeker

Club Green: Beach Clean up time!! Club Green is hosting their first beach clean up of the year! The beach clean up is at Ocean Beach on Sunday, October 9th starting at 8am till 10am. We are meeting at the pier. Come into Ms. Gerry's room , rm 701, to get more information. Anyone is welcome! Can't wait to see you there.
