ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS:

Pick up your application packets online or in the front of Room 411 TODAY. Applications are due April 29. Also, stop by ASB, Room 411 next week during lunch for ASB Open House.-Schmidt

HELLO ALL SINGERS!:
Do you want another chance to sing the National Anthem or Serra's Alma Mater at the upcoming Pep Rally? Then come to our second tryouts after school today in the ASB room. This is tryouts for both National Anthem and Alma Mater. Hope to hear you there!-Schmidt

Students, if you are interested in community service, here are a few volunteer opportunities for you. Seniors, these events may be of interest to you if you are looking to acquire community service hours for your Senior Exhibitions. Volunteers are needed for the following events:

Earth Day Beach Clean-up on April 16th. The California State Parks Foundation is holding its 14th annual Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup at parks across California on April 16th. Volunteers can help clean up Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. All tools and supplies will be provided.

State of the District Address. Volunteers are needed to assist Council member Marti Emerald’s office at the State of the District Address. This event will be held on April 28th at the College Avenue Baptist Church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to guide attendees to the event from the parking area, direct VIPs to the correct reserved parking area, sign in guests, and monitor refreshments. This is a great opportunity for students!

Coronado Bay-Bridge Run/Walk. Volunteers are needed to help during the Coronado Bay-Bridge Run/Walk on May 15th. Help is needed with race set-up, water stations, and working at the start and finish lines. For more information, please see Mrs. Byrd in the main office. -Marie Byrd


ATTENTION ALL GIRLS: Tracie Arlington will be on campus TODAY after school from 2:30-4:30 to teach self defense tactics and lessons. You must sign-up and also sign a waiver to participate. See Mrs. Wagner or Ms. Zoltan for more information.-Zoltan

LAST SHOW OF THE YEAR!! Reverse Psychology, Serra's own Improv Troupe, will have its last show of the year tomorrow night at 6:30 in Room 402. Advance tickets are $3 and $5 at the door.-Howell
