STUDENTS
GEAR UP encourages you to attend the free annual Cal-SOAP
College Fair on Wednesday, October 24 at the Scottish Rite Center in Mission
Valley. The fair begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. Over 100 Colleges will be represented and 7
workshops offered. GEAR UP is providing free bus transportation to and from the
College fair! For a bus permission slip please see Mr. Garcia or Ms. Holly at
the GEAR UP Office in the Media Center.
Reminder to all
students: All
absences must be cleared within FIVE days of the absence.
Any absences not verified within the
FIVE days will be considered “Unexcused” and could affect your grades.
Reminder to students: The Attendance Office does not issue
Blue Slips for students who are ill during the day.
If
a student is ill they must see the nurse and if needed the nurse will issue a
Blue Slip.

NOT HAVE OFFICE MONITORS. STUDENTS MUST PICK UP

SLIP IN THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE!
Requests
for early release (Blue Slip) must be submitted BEFORE 7:30a.m.on the day of
release
(parents
may phone in PRIOR to 7:00 a.m. or send a note with your student and he/she must
bring it to the Attendance Office PRIOR to 7:30 a.m.)
